Andi Kehoe-Trendel - Artistic Director/Owner

Andi Kehoe-Trendel has been studying dance for 27 years. Her education includes scholarships to Gus Giordano's and The Edge in Los Angeles. She has also studied extensively at Broadway Dance Center and Steps in New York City. Additionally, Andi has trained with notable choreographers Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, Gregg Russell, Joe Lanteri, Savion Glover and many more.

As a dancer, Andi has competed in national award-winning performances and appeared in opening numbers at many national dance competitions. Andi has also performed for theme parks and industrials.

Andi’s passion for dance inspired her to teach and choreograph. She has successfully trained dancers of all ability levels during the past 16 years. Many of her students have experienced success as professionals, have appeared on “So You Think You Can Dance,”  "Radio City Rockettes Spectacular," and even one danced with Beyonce in the 2009 VMA's!

Education and growth in dance remain an integral part of Andi’s life and she continues to study with prominent instructors and choreographers across the United States.

Sarah Zamilski - Combo Instructor

My name is Sarah Zamilski, and I have been teaching dance to children for the past 13 years, with most of those years being a Children's Dance Coordinator. I studied dance at Susan Lloyds Dance Studio, continued dance classes at Kent State University, and most recently Silver Spring Dance Conservatory.

I enjoy yoga, shopping, reading and spending time at the ocean with my 3 children.

I am excited to be at Revolution Dance and I look forward to meeting all of you and your children!

Andres Esteves - Ballet Instructor

Andres Estevez began his training in Havana, Cuba, and later joined Ballet Nacional de Cuba under the direction of Alicia Alonso. He was a principal dancer with Ballet Clasico de la Havana under the direction of Laura Alonso. His career includes international tours and guest appearances well as gold, silver and bronze medals in competitions in Cuba and Brazil. In 1996, Mr. Estevez traveled to the U.S. and joined Miami City Ballet where he performed many works from George Balanchine. In 1998, he joined Orlando Ballet as a principal dancer under the direction of Fernando Bujones and danced roles including Albretch in Giselle, Franz in Coppelia, Basilo in Don Quixote, solo in Bayadere and many works from Twyla Tharp and Bruce Marck. In 2009 he joined BalletMet and received the 2010 Violetta Boft Award and performed roles like Oberon in Mid Summer Night Dream, Don Jose and Escamillo in Carmen and many others.

Ali Wright - Guest Instructor

Ali Wright trained for thirteen years with Shirlee Wu, master teacher from Bejing Ballet Academy, China. She was accepted into The School of American Ballet (the official school of the New York City Ballet), in which she studied at Lincoln Center Plaza for the past four summers. She excelled in level six, and was selected for the lecture demonstration in 2008.

Ali has been taught by nationally renowned guest teachers and choreographers such as, Katrina Killian: SAB Faculty, Former NYC Ballet Soloist Christopher Fleming: Associate Director, The Rock School, PA Alexi Kremnew & Anna Reznik: Former Cincinnati Ballet Principals Valery Lantrratov: Artistic Director, Russian Foundation Ethan Brown: ABT NYC and Steps ballet teacher Orlando Monila: Former Ballet Master, Orlando Ballet

The pre-professional level gave Ali many performance opportunities. Some of her favorites principal roles include, Balanchines "Who Cares?" pas de duex, Blue Bird pas de duex from "Sleeping Beauty" , "Giselle", "Paquita", and "Pas de Quarte". The Nutcracker has always been a special part of Ali's training, and her roles of Clara and Snow Queen are among her favorite. Ali hopes to share some of her training and knowledge through teaching others.

Sofia Saari - Ballet Instructor

Sofia Saari started her ballet training at the age of eleven at Ballet Met Dance Academy. There, she became a pre-professional student on full merit scholarship. During her time as a pre-professional, Saari competed at the Youth American Grand Prix where she became a New York City finalist. Saari also attended summer programs at Orlando Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and Ballet West, all on full merit scholarship. Ms. Saari is starting her first full season as an apprentice at Columbus Dance Theatre and is in her junior year as a Biochemistry student at Otterbein University.  


Vanessa Rutherford - Recreational and Company Instructor

Vanessa has extensive experience in teaching tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theater, and contemporary for ages 2-18. Her degree from The Ohio State University is in early childhood development and is inspired everyday by her students. She has studied at Broadway Dance Center, Steps in NYC, and Gus Giordano's with choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Mia Michaels, Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini , Nick Bass, and many more. As a young competitor growing up dancing along side Andi, Vanessa won Miss Petite Dance of Ohio and competed in national award-winning duos, trios, and groups. She has choreographed many national champion solos, duos, trios, and groups for the past 13 years and has been dancing for 32 years. She is looking forward to becoming a part of the Revolution family this coming season!
